Well we cannot believe that Santa will soon be here and Christmas came early at Signal Advantage this month with a record month for name badge sales and a record month for produced name badges from the production team. As we continue our journey here in Australia I am personally delighted that our investment in technology, people and process is beginning to pay dividends in terms of quality of service to our valued name badge customers.

 The production team produced a record number of units with over 99% leaving the premises in line with our customer expectations and over 98.50% of these units leaving right first time.  There were some conformance challenges with a couple of orders that we are delighted to have designed a fix to our system to stop these happening again and I am proud of the positive way in which our team sees these conformance’s as a challenge to resolve in line with our vision to be the national leading provider of name badges.  During the month we also had two new name badge printing presses delivered and commissioned with the purpose of maintaining our highest levels of customer service as the business growth moves to the next phase.

The sales and marketing team reported a record month in reported business with over 80% of our customers coming back to buy more name badges which is how we ultimately measure our success.  Our SOL’ID ordering system received record numbers of name badge orders for the month and its continued development is key to the growth of the business.   Thanks to the sales team for their efforts and for the IT team in working some majic over this busy period.   As we know though you are unable to rest on our success and we are looking for new ways to keep our process fresh and customer focussed in line with our customer demands.

The finance team also had a great month and overachieved their objectives in addition to some major system upgrades which have taken much time and energy to implement however we should now start seeing the long terms wins from such an investement.  I look forward to the current projects coming to fruition on or before time to keep ahead of our main objective which is to reduce process and improve peformance.

 We have an exciting month in November with a major upgrade to our facilities happening on Nov 20,  our goal is to start the work on Friday at midday and to be fully operational for the following Monday.  The purpose of the upgrade is to complete the new layout of the production facilities to improve the workflow and increase capacities.   There will also be an opportunity to double our sales and marketing team in time for the new year.
