Name Badge Monthly Update - September 2009
Firstly, I must congratulate the team for some outstanding results in the month of August 09. The production team processed a record amount of name badgeunits for the month and over 99.50% of these name badges being shipped on or before time and right first time. An outstanding achievement considering the changes in our process that hit the system in September. Our investment in new equipment to manage our growth on the name badge product created some exciting challenges for the production team however they came through with flyer colours. Well Done to Mal and the team and also a welcome to our newest team member Aeron who joins at the start of September.
Customer Satisfaction was running at over 98.5% for the month of August. This is how we effectively manage and measure our business in terms of happy customers will be happy to refer friends and colleagues. In line with our vision of being the national leader in name badges we are also focused on giving world class customer service at all touch points from intial marketing through to cash collection and goods being delivered on time , exceeding our clients expectations. Our considerable investment in the SOL’ID online name badge ordering solution has shown how we can take out process delays, increase capacity and manage our costs in line with our profit driven element of our vision. We are very confident that SOL’ID will be the leading e-commerce solution for ordering personalised products for business over the next 3 years and based on the current feedback from our name badge customers we are on track to achieve our goal.
Sales and Marketing also had a storming month with record sales numbers, Si is leading the team from the front and our continued investment in the information systems has allowed us to manage our business and forecast accurately with manufacturing so we can plan our continued growth whilst ensuring customer satisfaction. The marketing team experienced great success with their ongoing SEO marketing campaigns backed up by some more traditional forms of marketing, well done once again. I am looking forward to the continued success of our new metal badge range ( Prestige ) and button badges that were introduced at the end of the last financial year.
Finance was also kept busy with changes in the credit control system which Kim has managed with the IT team. I look forward to continued success and completion of our upgrades planned for the 2nd quarter of the financial year.
