With just over 50% of the month complete the operations team is on target for achieving a record month for on time name badge orders - currently our peformance is sitting at 100% of orders being despatched on or before time which is a great acheivement.  Well Done to Mal and the production team for their dedication in providing our clients with first class name badges on time right first time.  This is “bang” in line with our vision of being the national leading provider of products that identify people and raise the value of customers brands.  This has been a great team effort and thanks again sharing our passion that by delivering right first time , on or before time then customers will come back which is how we measure our success as a company.
The metal badge range of products has also been unleased to the sales team and our existing customers,  the marketing plans will being in the New Year via traditional direct mail campaigns complemented by the web site being upgraded to include these products.  We look forward to sharing our extensive range of metal badges in the near future.

We are delighted to share with our customers a record month at Signal Advantage in terms of sales achieved,  customer satisfaction and operational performance on our name badge products.     Sales ended up after a hectic final week 8% over target which was a record ,  operations achieved 99.67% of name badges shipped on or before time and 99.39% of name badges being shipped right first time.  We are now beginning to see the benefits of our investment in process reduction and technology the last 12 months.  95% of our new customers from September said they would refer us to a friend of a colleague which is how we measure our customer satisfaction.

The name badge sales were supplemented by some new orders from our Prestige Metal Badges Collection and some great new orders for the Impact Name Badges.   As the economy is beginning to slow we are finding some great opportunites to save customers money and provide a similar product with a better level of service.  Customers are also understanding how much process for them our revoluntionary 1-by-1 name badge ordering system can reduce.     Its also great to see a record number of online name badge orders submitted for the month of October which has helped us achieve such great service levels to our valued clients.

The Club was first established in 1925 to attract tourists to the area by providing a safe beach for swimmers. Surfers Paradise owes its progress and status - and the safety of its visitors - to earlier generations of benefactors who had a vision (A more detailed record of the Club’s history can be found by selecting the Our History under the main menu).

While providing an outstanding model of surf life saving on the busiest and best known beach in Australia, the quality and courage of our members goes beyond personal interest. In 1958 acts of heroism and self sacrifice were displayed when members of the club were catapulted into the limelight when they heroically participated in a shark attack rescue. This resulted in the club receiving the “Meritorious Award for Bravery” from Surf Life Saving Australia and six members receiving Royal Humane Society awards.

Being proficient and having completed the prerequisite number of patrol hours allows the members to compete at all facets of the club’s competition calendar. Competitions events include swimming, board and ski events, beach sprinting surf boat rowing, rescue and resuscitation (R&R) and Inflatable Rescue Boat (IRB). 

In line with our vison of being the national leading provider of name badges and name badge solutions,  we are pleased to publish our Customer Satisfaction Survey Results.  In summary , 98.5% of our customers were satisfied with the level of service received on shipped orders in May, June and July 08 and 92% of these customers would recommend us to a friend which is our key measure within the business that we focus on.   As we have all read,  70% of new business comes from existing customers and the purpose of the survey is to understand not only how we are performing as a company but more importantly to listern to how we can improve based on customer in thinking as opposed to telling our customers what we think they want.

A record month for the team in terms of performance against target for both sales and manufacturing.  Since our last performance update in July we have continued our rapid growth in sales combined with an increase in our performance numbers within our production team for the name badge product range.

The sales team had a great month specifically winning the Avis and Budget rent a car accounts for its name badges.  This contract is supplying the end user locations direct via our award winning 1-by-1 on line ordering system.  The name badges will be supplied on a national and international basis (New Zealand) . I would like to thank Lisa our Office Manager for managing the transition and communication for this new account and look forward to a long business relationship with Avis and Budget.   We have also achieved some other great new name badge account contracts from various organisation that value the benefits of high quality personalised name badges combined with slick on line ordering systems that take out many of the delays and costs usually associated with name badges.

The production team has also had a great month,   on time performance for units despatched reached 100% of all orders received for name badges.   This is a great result considering that the number of units despatched was a record month beating our previous record by over 20%.  Well Done to Mal and the team for their dedication to our vision and ensuring not only that we win new customers but our existing name badge customers come back for more!

In celebration,  we took the team out to the Versace Hotel for some well deserved “tucker” and a catch up on where the company is going and what steps we are planning to achieve consistant quality of service in line with our vision.
